By Underground

The nearest station to Wanstead Quaker Meeting house is Leytonstone which is on the Central Line just in between Zones 2 and 3.

The Map above shows the route from Letyonstone Underground to Wanstead Quaker Meeting house (marked as Burial Ground in Bush Road on the map). The shortest route is:

1. Come out of the station in the Church Lane direction, ie left.
2. Walk straight up Church Lane and turn left at the end of it into the High Road.
3. Walk straight up the High Road until you come to Macdonalds on your left hand side.
4. Turn right into the road opposite Macdonalds, called Browning Road.
5. Follow Browning Road around until you reach Bush Road.
6. Turn right and carry on up Bush Road (away from the roundabout) for a hundred yards or so and the Meeting house is on your right.

By Car

To get to us by car get to the Green Man roundabout (Leytonstone/Wanstead exit form the A12), take the Leytonstone exit from the roundabout and turn left at first trafic lights onto Bush Road and about 200 metres along on the right hand side is Wanstead Quaker Meeting house.  Link to Map.

By Bus

There are seven buses that stop within about five minutes walk from Wanstead Quaker Meeting.

They are:

• 145 and 66 that travel form East to West along Bush Road.
• 101 and the 308 which stop at the bus on Blake Hall road.
• 257, W13 and the W14 all stop near the Green Man roundabout.
